This article describes a micromagnetic Monte Carlo method for computing large-scale thermodynamic equilibrium states. The method is fully parallel, can be executed on GPUs and includes the magnetostatic interaction. The same approach is used to include the long-range dipole-dipole interaction in the parallel atomistic Monte Carlo algorithm.
Applications to finite-temperature hysteresis loop modelling, chiral magnetic thin films, granular magnetic media, and artificial spin ices are discussed.
