A vector interfacial DMI module allows simulations with user-defined DMI symmetry axis orientation. The following examples show magnetic nanotubes, where the DMI symmetry axis is set as surface normal. The magneto-crystalline uniaxial anisotropy easy axis is also set as surface normal.
First example shows a nanotube containing 4 skyrmions, driven by SOT (with surface normal symmetry axis) and ISTT.
Next a thicker tube wall is used (5 nm thick) with a fine discretization cellsize (1 nm), containing a single large skyrmion. The motion shows the skyrmion Hall effect on the nanotube surface.
